I have a dream, that one day people will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character; that justice would be afforded to all, not just all who can afford it.

That "liberal" would one day describe how we dispense of grace and mercy, "conservative" would describe how we exercise judgment, and that "independent" would be the manner of our thinking apart from the world.

I have a dream, that education, medical care, and healthy food would not be reserved simply for those in the upper tax brackets, and that we might reserve our largest celebrations for the accomplishments of others, for those who are actually accomplishing something to the benefit of all, more than celebrity status.

That teaching would be seen as the responsibility of all, not just the problem of the school systems, and that entertainers would be seen simply as such, and not the "role models" we blame for the children we've left behind, for they are our future, and we are theirs.

Yes, I too have a dream.

That one day the world would not be viewed as us and them, but simply as us. As a gift from God that we are to care for and preserve for future generation and that all people, everywhere would be seen by their inherent God given worth as equal.

Celebrate the man, and celebrate his savior.
