The Laziest Pharisee

Just read this on a christian web site:

"In the end,
if abortion was such a grievous sin
Jesus would have mentioned it.
He said nothing."

...on a christian web site.

Consider this:

Between the seed and the crop, is one less vital, less valuable, than the other?
The seed for being only the potential for, rather than the realization of, the harvest?

If I were bent on destruction, at which stage in the process would I, could I,
do so without the destruction of something valuable?

When does the seed become valuable enough to care about?

The answer?
It's never not something of value.
It is worthy to be cared for at every stage because the potential for return is enough.

Even though that seed may never germinate, might never sprout,
although it is not yet "living" it is regarded as valuable and cared for.

Because each stage is vital to the next it is recognized as part of the whole
and afforded the opportunity to become so.

If only humans were valued as much as seeds...what a different world this would be.
