Tapestry

Woven deep within the tapestry of life is beauty beyond comprehension, if we would only see it. The difficulty often seems though, that we become overwhelmed dealing with the ugly complexities of life that we forget about the joys of simply living it.
It is as though we had been given a beautiful stained glass work of art and the best we could do is examine the lead work.
However, if we are at all concerned about experiencing the best in life, or have any concern at all about the giver of life, we must take time to step away and cease our consuming desire to see our own work through in order to simply experience the world and people around us. It is in this time when we can resign from trusting in our own works, and put our trust in God by simply living, I have found that God does his most amazing work.
