Do you mean ancient religious sites, like the Mayan Temples?
Does it have to do with magnetic forces because of their geographical proximity to the equator?
Perhaps, just a theory, that explains why we find no record of the Mayans actually having computers.

You know, speaking of the missionary position, I just realized something, they had ritual sex at at those temples!
Maybe then, it's not that they didn't actually have computers, maybe they just hadn't discovered virus protection yet so they couldn't keep them from crashing all the time.
I would have suggested calling technical support, but clearly they couldn't call technical support, Alexander Graham Bell hadn't been born yet, thus: No phones.
Another history lesson: Always use protection.

I'm coming to see trolling as a potentially effective means of guerrilla warfare of the internet...if you can't get people to stop talking, perhaps the second best option is just to make them keep talking...
