You have asked me not to lie so I will tell you quite frankly what many will not, 

you are correct:  You don't need God, and you have said as much.

So in that same vein, you shouldn't be surprised when I say that God does not need you either. 

He too has said as much, you can read it for yourself.

God does desire you. 

He has said that as well. 

But desire is not need, and God does not need you.

With or without you God remains unchanged. 

The same however cannot be said for you.

You won't believe it until you experience it. 

I know. 

You have made that clear. 

That's fine.

You have asked for truth, and so I'm simply telling you.

There is certainly no need to acknowledge God, to be used in his will. 

But that is hardly an enviable position.

So, there you go, I said it, you don't need God. 

There are many things in life to be desired but that we do not need to make it to the end. 

God is certainly among them.

As is hope.
As is comfort.
As is food. 

Food?! 

Sure... you can go your whole life without food.

Oh, it will change everything about your life drastically to do so, but it certainly can be done.

Seriously.

You don't need God.
