I've told my wife and daughters (who probably still don't believe me) that no matter the age, if there are boobs, they will usually become (consciously or not, spoken or not) the foremost and overshadowing focus mentally for guys.
I've also used the song "Get Lucky" to explain the problems with male / female "friendships"...
As I tell them," you can believe I'm right or you can learn that I am... but I'm right."
